Jody graduated in 2004 at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA where she studied musical theatre. Since her graduation she has performed in regional theatre and summer stock around the country as well as singing on a cruise ship based out of West Palm Beach. In addition, Ms. Bell performed in a number of Off Broadway shows in NYC before going to work for Broadway Producer Ken Davenport (Godspell, Macbeth, and Kinky Boots).
